It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. It's the time for celebration with our family and friends. Some takes advantage of this holiday to take the well deserve holiday break. But you don't need to go far to feel that holiday spirit. If you are one of those people who choose to be home for the holidays, here is the list of our favorite happenings in South Florida for the Holiday season:
Holiday in Paradise
The City of West Palm Beach takes pride in Sandi, the World’s ONLY 600-ton sand tree. Be dazzled with the 35feet tall star of the show. It also features nightly music and light shows. Shows are on the quarter hour, starting at 6:15 p.m. Enjoy the other additional award-worthy sculptures as well. Plus there's the whimsical SnowieVille, where kids can build a tropical snowman and tons of other FREE family fun activities. Happening till December 31st.
Garden of Lights
The season would really sparkle with the thousands of holiday lights hanging from trees lighting the walkways and structures throughout the 15 different garden areas. It also features musical presentation and dance performances by the local schools and academies called the GARDEN OF LIGHTS: A Winter Holiday Event. Open until December 30th.
Pop Up Bars for the Holidays
Visit the Christmas themed pop up bar, Miracle in the two locations it will have this year. One in City Place in Palm Beach County and the other one in Delray at Death or Glory. Enjoy the seasonally themed cocktails that will surely set the festive settings until December 31st.
Winter Wonderland
Dreaming of a winter wonderland for the holidays? Visit the Hoffman’s Chocolates’ Winter Wonderland and enjoy tons of activities. Admission is FREE. Highlights feature the Panthers in Palm Beach Ice Skating Rink, a real ice skating rink offering 60-minute skate sessions. You can also enjoy the Santa’s Village presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital where you can meet and greet Santa and Mrs. Claus in an expanded 800-ft holiday village decorated with poinsettias and tons of holiday cheer!
Sparkly Night Garden
The Miami’s Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is transformed into the first ever NightGarden this holiday season. It features spectacular lighting displays, awe-inspiring special effects, motion-sensing technology, illuminated mazes, state-of-the-art outdoor holograms, sculptures and more. Enjoy a variety of local food options, nightly entertainment and unique photo worthy moments with this amazing experience. It is open to the public until January 6, 2018
